We’ve got plenty happening at Crindle over the Christmas holidays, with a lovely mix of activities for all ages and abilities!
Whether you’re a regular rider or someone who has never been on a horse before, we’d love you to come along and enjoy some festive fun with us.
Here’s what we’ve got planned!
🎄 Saturday 19th December – Christmas Party
We’ll be getting into the Christmas spirit with pony games, snacks and plenty of fun. A lovely chance for everyone to get together before Christmas!
🐴 Monday 28th December | 10:30am – Adventure Ride
Our popular one-hour Adventure Ride is perfect for beginners, first-time riders or anyone looking to try something new.
Meet your pony, enjoy a mini riding lesson, some fun games, a wee countryside trek (weather permitting) and finish with a bit of grooming.
🌊 Monday 28th December | 12pm – Beach Ride
What better way to get out and enjoy some fresh air between Christmas and New Year? Join us for a ride along the beautiful Benone and Downhill Beach, with views towards Mussenden Temple.
💕 Tuesday 29th December – Toddler Pony Session
A fun, hands-on session for our youngest pony lovers, with grooming, pony activities and a little ride too!
🏇 Tuesday 29th December – Christmas Gymkhana
Everyone is welcome to join in, from complete beginners to our more experienced riders! We’ll have a mix of fun games and friendly competitions, with something to suit all abilities. It’s all about having a go, enjoying yourself and having a bit of fun with our horses and ponies!
We love seeing everyone enjoy themselves at Crindle, whether they’re just starting out or have been riding for years. It’s all about having fun, building confidence and enjoying time with our horses and ponies.

Canice and I took our 2 boys to Crindle stables this afternoon for a surprise birthday experience. Hazel, Trevor, Amy, Adam and their amazing team made the experience fantastic. Our boys can’t stop talking about the wonderful horse’s. Very professional service we are already talking about our next visit!

Took my 7 year old & 3 year old for the todder/kid session and it was a fantastic experience! I was worried my kids would be nervous as they’ve never been horseriding before but the ponies were so calm the kids jumped straight on and had a ball! Lovely staff and arena. We also got to pet the many horses in the stalls. Really magical memories made ✨️

Took my two granddaughters..Ella and Katie to Crindle Stables for a Christmas treat….they had an hour of fun… Amy and Hannah are just the loveliest of girls so friendly and great with the wee ones.They will definitely be back again. And a shout out to Sophie who we got talking to with a world of information..Thank you girls we had a fun time. xx

Best day for our kids!!
Both our boys (age 2+3) had the best time. Thanks to the staff for their patience and for making sure both kids had a fun time riding and brushing the horses. They haven’t stopped asking us to go back!
